About the seminar:
In response to the continuing demand from our clients and friends, we are once again presenting a two-day motor carrier/warehouse insurance seminar. This program, which is designed for insurance company claims supervisors and other claims personnel, covers all aspects of the liability of truckers for bodily injury, property damage and cargo loss and damage. at the request of many of our clients, the cargo session is being expanded to address the multitude of issues which are arising with the use of warehouses and third party logistics companies. It also covers all aspects of insurance coverage of these losses.
The faculty consists entirely of attorneys practicing transportation/warehousing and insurance law, including Ira Lipsius, Ed Farman, Jean Gardner and Laurence Rabinovich.
To assure individual attention, registration will be limited to 55 participants. We have been oversubscribed every year, so we recommend that you register as soon as you can.
This year's seminar will be held at the Crowne Plaza New York- La Guardia Conference Center. We have made arrangements with the Crowne Plaza to provide hotel rooms to our participants at the very low rate of $167 for a single or a double, per night for Monday night April 28, and Tuesday night April 29, 2003, and the rate of $125 for the night of April 27, 2003, and for up to three nights prior to the seminar. Participants can take advantage of the $125 rate for check-in as early as Thursday, April 24, and the $167 rate for April 30, 2003
Tuition for attendance at the seminar, which includes printed materials, breakfast, lunch and refreshments, is $895, which is the same as last year.
We will make all reasonable efforts to obtain Continuing education credits for participants. Most jurisdictions require pre-certification for all programs. We urge you to contact us immediately with the information on your state if you would like credits in a particular jurisdiction.
