Kunkin
Mr.
Kunkin received his bachelor’s degree in Marine Transportation, with a minor
in International Business, from State University of New York - Maritime
College in 1993. In 1993 he also obtained a U.S. Coast Guard Unlimited
Third Mate’s license.
After
obtaining his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1996, he was admitted
to the New York and New Jersey bars, as well as the Federal Courts in the
Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey and
the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit. He is a member of the Maritime
Law Association of the United States and has published articles on Seaman’s
Rights and Charter Party disputes.
